#HumanitiesHighlight: Meet Arionna Grant ’25, a recent grad who majored in sociology. Arionna has a passion for understanding people and strengthening communities. She is gaining real-world experience through a paid internship with Strategic Spartanburg, where she supports community impact initiatives, builds data dashboards and assists with policy work focused on poverty. “Because of my own experience, I don’t feel like I was surrounded by a strong community,” Grant said. “You can make a change at a local level; you don’t have to go into politics.
