Speaking of elite freshmen, here’s No. 7: Ashleigh Mejia became just the ninth Sun Devil freshman to record 10-or-more home runs during their first collegiate season. She ended the 2025 campaign with a team-leading 13 homers. Mejia went on to earn a spot on the Big 12’s All-Freshman Team and All-Big 12 Second Team. She was also named D1Softball’s National Freshman of the Week on April 15th.
