'Wicked' star Marissa Bode has opened up about being mistreated as a disabled person on airlines. Posting an 8-minute video to TikTok on Monday 22 December, the actress spoke about a recent experience on a flight to New York with her partner. She explained that due to there not being an accessible toilet on the flight, she was forced to sit in her own urine until the flight landed. Bode also explained that her partner's wheelchair was broken and claimed that staff asked them to sit in it to check. The 'Wicked' star ended the video by saying: "Airlines, train your f*cking staff better. Train them to not talk to us like we're 3 years old. Train them to ask us, rather than assume, or talk over us, or talk to one another with questions rather than asking us directly".
