Youth players, hear this before you burn yourself out.
More training hours doesn’t automatically make you better. Training smart does. If you can’t remember the last time you took a rest day, you’re probably doing too much.
Not every session needs to be long, intense, or filled with fancy gear. Sometimes five minutes of juggling in your driveway counts. Sometimes rest counts. Most young players don’t need more hours — they need more freedom, creativity, sleep, and water.
You improve from consistency and enjoyment, not from trying to be a training superhero seven days a week.
How many days a week do you train and how old are you? Drop it in the comments.
