Born in Jamaica, raised in South Florida, Robin Fraser has left an indelible mark on the sport. Fraser was a force on the backline as a player. He was an outstanding center back who was known for his tenacity, skill, and leadership. He played for some of the best teams in league history and played for the United States Men's National Team, earning 27 caps. Fraser continued to make his mark on the sport after his playing days were over. He began his coaching career as an assistant with Real Salt Lake, where he quickly established himself as one of the league's top minds. Later he took on head coaching positions with Chivas USA and the Colorado Rapids, where he helped lead his team to first place in the Western Conference and the quarterfinals of the playoffs in 2021. Fraser is one of only three Black head coaches in the league, and he has never been afraid to speak out as a vocal advocate for racial and social justice.
