🍰Part 2: My Favorite Vanilla Cake Recipe & Tips.
After baking your cakes at 325 F for 35-40 minutes, let them cool in the cake pans for 15-20 minutes.
-Once they are cooled completely, trim off the rounded top, remove the excess cake and set it aside.
-Then get a cake board and set it on top of the cake in the pan.
-Flip it over so the board is on the counter and lift the cake pan off vertically.
-Now is when you should cut layers in half (if desired), place parchment between each layer to prevent sticking, and then place cake on the cake board in the freezer. Leave it and let it freeze up completely for 3-5+ hours. Once frozen, fill the cake and crumb coat.
