🍰 Part 3: How I stack a multiple tiered cake.
**If you haven’t already watched part 1-2, pause this and go watch those 2 videos so this all makes sense.**
🍰Here are my tips on how to make your cake stacking go smoothly as possible.
1. Make sure all cake layers are frozen.
2. Fill and crumb coat each individual cake as you normally would.
3. Prep each weight loading layer (in this case the bottom and middle layers) by using bubble straws and or dowels. (Shown in part 1 of this series)
4. After crumb coat, freeze again for 15-30 minutes.
5. Frost & Decorate each individual cake layer. Do not stack before final coat of frosting and designs.
6. Freeze again after final coat of frosting.
7. Stack the cake as shown in this video 30-45 minutes before cake delivery.
(You want your cake to be as cold as possible to keep as stable as possible)
8. After stacking, place a wooden or steel dowel thru the center of the cake. This will hold each cake layer together and in place.
