Christmas isn’t a day to just remember Christ’s coming: His birth, life, death, and resurrection; but we actively come into the real and present Kingdom of God. It’s not a funeral where one remembers and leaves inspired, rather it’s a celebration where we get to participate in the work that God has invited us into, where we get to experience the love, grace, and mercy of God.
