A look back at a couple sessions led by Vince Ganzberg, our Director of Coach Education, at this year’s @unitedsoccercoaches Convention in Chicago, IL. 👀   His field and classroom session topics, focused on helping coaches create a process driven approach, were developed from watching coaches focus too heavily on outcome. The primary question presented to attendees was: “How do you take educational theory and bring it to life on the field?” We have so many educational theories, but at the end of the day it is important to create an environment where players can build on their autonomy, competency and confidence. “A piece of paper doesn’t make you a great coach.
