The NHL’s Holiday Break is upon us & the Devils have had one heck of an unofficial first half of the season 😳
Jersey’s Team has 41 points with a 20-16-1 record, which currently places them in 6th place inside the Metropolitan Division standings & 5th in the East Wild Card. For comparison, last season at the same Holiday Break the Devils had 49 points, compared to 2023-24’s 36 points & 2022-23’s 46 points on Christmas Eve.
After dropping their Opening Night game, the Devils fired off an 8-game win streak but since then haven’t looked nearly as sharp. Since waking up on Thanksgiving morning 1st place in the East, the team holds a 5-9-0 record, scoring less than 2 goals in its last 5 games played.
