When your locker room plays host to 27% of Switzerland’s NHL population, you go out of your way to make them feel comfortable. And that’s exactly what Devils team dietitian Amy Marteney did in 2022 (when Akira Schmid was a Devil at the time, prior to Timo Meier’s arrival), creating a monthly spread with the name “Swiss Day” inside the Devils dressing room 🇨🇭 Served once a month after a practice, Zürich geschnetzeltes with a creamy mushroom sauce awaits the Devils after they get off the ice. What’s on the full menu? Macaroni with meat sauce, applesauce, parmesan cheese, potato rösti, chicken cordon bleu, carrots, asparagus and potato soup. Marteney met with the Devils catering director, Levy, after being hired in 2022 with a goal to bring cultural meals to the dressing room.
