Charles Hamilton Houston, known as “the man who killed Jim Crow,” practiced unity by uniting legal minds and institutions to dismantle segregation. Stacey Abrams carries that legacy forward today, building coalitions through organizations like Fair Fight and Fair Count to turn collective participation into lasting power.
