The finality of sports has always been tough for me. Win, or lose, at the end of each season, for that particular group, it’s over, and I’ve always struggled with that. When I was younger, I would get so caught up in a loss like yesterday’s that it would literally consume me for months. As heartbreaking as our end of the season was, I’m proud of everything our group did. I’m proud we went down 9-2 & fought back to take it to OT. I’m proud that the tougher it got, the more we came together. Devastated on the field after yesterday’s loss, our little guy came running up to me & help put it all back in perspective. We built a culture this year with the ‘Woods, and we’ll be back in 2020, without a doubt. Until then, Roll f’ing Woods.
