Manousos walks through the rainforest practicing English. At first it sounds serious. Focused. Intentional. Purposeful. Then the lines change. This edit started as a real thought I had watching the episode. The repetition. The resolve. The way he says his name like a vow. But once I noticed the rhythm, I could not unhear it. So I leaned into it. This is a bait and switch edit built out of appreciation for the scene, not mockery of it.
