Met a senior artist at a small handcrafted lacquerware shop by Lake Chūzenji, Nikko. A brief encounter, a shared photograph, and a small box shaped by decades of hands and patience. Some things carry more than form - they carry time. Glad to be bringing home a gift that’s meaningful and handmade. #connectinghearts
