Experience the sights and sounds of our Christmas Mass, when our entire community gathered Friday morning in Scaccia Auditorium to begin our Christmas at Canisius celebration.
The Mass began with Assistant to the President Fr. Richard Zanoni, S.J., reading the Proclamation of the Birth of Christ while the members of the Class of 2026 carried candles into the darkened auditorium.
The proclamation begins with creation and relates the birth of Christ to the major events and personages of sacred and secular history.
Students participated in the Mass through readings and responses, choral and instrumental music, and as Eucharistic Ministers, candlebearers and crossbearer.
