We love to see Latin American music, culture, and traditions be celebrated, and UNESCO recently did just that by adding Venezuelan joropo, Cuban son, and Argentinian cuarteto to its Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, which honors the practices and knowledge that make up the cultural identities of communities around the world.
