I usually don't praise the Soviets or their ideas, as someone with slavic descent, my family has endured many horrible things caused by the dictatorship of the proletariat (and no they were not aristocrats nor bourgeoisie), but I must applaud their housing projects that gave often free and cheap homes. I know this isn't usually very in line with my page or ideas (cause those blocks look ugly as hell, although cozy and comforting inside) but I strive to broaden my perspective and not fossilise myself in a single worldview.
