It was the Nick Boyd show at the Kohl Center last night as the Badgers handled Northern Illinois 97–72. Boyd lit up the first half with 20 points on his way to a career-high 25, and the bench celebrated with him like brothers every step of the way. Another special moment came late when Isaac Gard — son of head coach Greg Gard — checked in for the final minute and a half. He buried a three and then knocked down two from the line to close it out, with dad watching from the sideline. All Bucky.
