The Huskers did it again Sept. 7, with a crowd of 15,797 showing up to watch a college volleyball match between Creighton and Nebraska.⁠ ⁠ And after about two hours where the biggest moment was the announcement of that record, until the Bluejays stormed back to make it a thrilling five-set match.⁠ ⁠ But Nebraska still hasn’t lost to Creighton in volleyball.⁠ ⁠ It took nearly a three-hour fight but @huskervolleyball passed its first test of the season against a ranked team, with the No. 2 Huskers beating No. 17 Creighton at CHI Health Center Omaha.⁠ ⁠ This was a regular season match in the third week of the season, but the athletes got to play in front of a massive crowd usually reserved for the Final Four.⁠ ⁠ The attendance is an NCAA record for the largest crowd for a regular season college match.
