ADOR has not only notified Danielle of her contract termination today, but they’re reportedly also moving forward with legal action.
In a statement to local media, ADOR said, “It’s difficult to disclose the exact amount of damages, but the penalty will follow the formula already stated in the exclusive contract.” Industry insiders estimate that the penalty Danielle may have to bear could range from 90 billion KRW (about 62 million USD) to 124 billion KRW (about 86 million USD).
ADOR also stated that they plan to pursue legal responsibility against one of Danielle’s family members, claiming that this person played a major role in causing the dispute and delaying NewJeans’ return.
