Taeil has been given a finalized prison sentence of 3 years and 6 months for committing aggravated sexual assault under Korea’s Sexual Violence Punishment Act. On December 26, South Korea’s Supreme Court rejected appeals from Taeil and two accomplices, upholding the rulings from both the first and second trials. Along with jail time, they were also ordered to complete 40 hours of a sexual-offender treatment program and are banned from working at facilities involving children, teens, or people with disabilities for five years.
