One year ago, we received an enquiry from Julie on volunteering opportunities in Brazil. Fast forward one year later, Julie is a blue flag marshal at the recently concluded Brazilian Grand Prix! Motorsports has always been a part of Julie’s life since young as she attended races with her father and grandfather. After following us on Instagram and speaking with us, she discovered volunteering work, and through our introduction, made contact with the Brazil ASN. The journey since there has been incredible with the Brazilian marshals welcoming and attentive to her as a new official. In her opinion, the training has been very well organized and being able to meet like-minded people like herself, and gaining a better understanding of the organization of a large event behind the scenes are the highlight of her journey so far.
