Join us for a hands-on outdoor workshop on Saturday, January 3, 2026, from 11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. at the Deering Estate. Participants will create a hanging sculpture using locally harvested reeds and biodegradable twine—an ecologically mindful piece that also functions as a bee hotel supporting solitary pollinators. Guided by themes of tides, flow, and our interconnected place in nature, this workshop explores where art and conservation meet. Camila Young is an artist and environmental researcher exploring climate solidarity across cultures. Drawing from her Caribbean roots, she uses visual metaphor and collaboration to spark environmental imagination. Currently at Yale University, she studies environmental policy and supports initiatives toward COP30. Located in front of the Pump House. Limited to 25 participants; ages 16+ unless accompanied by a parent/guardian. Tickets: $30. All skill levels welcome. #ArtsAtDeering #EcoArt #Pollinators #ArteYNaturaleza ~~~Español~~~ Acompáñenos en...
