Can someone wake me up when February ends?? 🥴 Mothering through pain is something I never truly understood until I had to do it myself, even after seeing my mom do it for most of my life. Showing up for our babies when we’re struggling is one of the hardest things we do as mothers, but somehow, we find the strength. If you’ve ever had to mother through pain, I see you. I feel you. It’s not easy, but we are stronger than we think!
This past month has been one of the hardest for me. But even on the tough days, there are still little moments of joy that remind me why I keep going - like watching Jaxson master the “keeYAH” at his first karate class and seeing how excited the kids got over glow sticks in the bathtub.
The biggest lesson I’ve learned about mothering through pain this month is this: My kids don’t need a perfect mom, just a present one. Sometimes, love is in the little things. My best is enough.
What’s something motherhood has taught you about pushing through hard seasons?...
