Juggling mom life solo while my husband is away definitely makes me understand the saying, “Jack of all trades, master of none” on a whole new level. There are so many days where I feel like I’m kind of just getting by - trying to fit everything in but not really doing a great job with any of them, especially in terms of being a mom. I multitask a lot, but I don’t always want to be multitasking in motherhood which is why I’m being intentional about leaving all my devices in another room to spend distraction-free time with the kids every day. I’m also giving myself grace and reminding myself it’s OK to fall short of my own self-inflicted idea of “perfect.” This is just ONE season of our life, not forever. #longdistancemarriage #longdistancerelationship #ditlofamom #authenticmotherhood
