Can I let you in on something?? This year has 365 days, just like most other years. On today, day 2, that may seem like a lot, but in actuality, this year will likely fly by just like the last one did. We’ll get into our rhythms and the hustle and bustle of our everyday life, and before we know it, we’ll be celebrating Christmas again. Like many of you, I have a lot that I would like to accomplish this year, but I’m also being realistic and giving myself grace. It’s unlikely that I will accomplish all 25 of these things in a single calendar year. The goal is progress, not perfection. If I get 5 in a row, that will be cause for celebration. Valuing progress over perfection reduces stress and leads to greater confidence as you celebrate the small wins along the way. It also leads to more productivity as you keep moving forward instead of getting stuck on the details.
