ICYMI on my story, yesterday I ran the Peachtree Road Race! The Peachtree is an Atlanta rite of passage, but as someone who is “not a runner,” I’ve always been reluctant to do it. Not only did I run my first 10k, but I surpassed the goal I set for myself to finish in less than 2 hours by finishing in 1:23:23. The highlight of the race for me was running by Piedmont Hospital, which is where I had brain surgery and where both of my babies were born! Talk about a full circle, look at God moment 🥹🙌🏾 I guess I’m officially a runner now because I’ve already registered for the Peachtree next year, and two more races between now and then!
