Little man takes his role very seriously! Yesterday while Harper and I squealed in the background, Jaxson squashed a bug on the front porch. He didn’t hesitate. He didn’t squirm or second guess himself. He squashed the bug, wiped off the bottom of his shoe on the ground, and went on playing. Harper and I looked at each other in amazement. Jaxson is truly fearless. He gets that from his daddy. Now, of course, he’s two years old. No one honestly expects him to be or act like a man. No one expects him to fill any shoes. We just expect him to be a kid. But, it does make my heart smile that he looks to do things that he’s seen his dad do before.
