Instagram vs. reality… Taking pictures with kids is always fun 🙃 Last week, I left two entire shopping bags, one from Zara and one from the Children’s Place, on the back of a shopping cart at the mall. I was rushing. I wasn’t necessarily in a hurry, but my mind was racing, going a mile a minute. Mentally, I was on to the next thing before even completely finishing my previous thought. As I headed back to the mall in hopes that I would be able to track down the forgotten bags, I grabbed my vlogging camera and shared how this was a great reminder for me to slow down. In life, how often are we on to the next before even taking a moment to show gratitude for the present. So many of us are living in answered prayers (myself included), and sometimes to really see that, we have to pause and reflect. We have to take our foot off the gas, just for a second, and cruise. In the hustle and bustle of life’s busyness, don’t forget to slow down, be present, and give thanks. Tune in to this week...
