Sometimes, I tend to say no to things that my kids want to do simply because the thought of the aftermath of the activity stresses me out. That’s something I’m working on as a mama. It’s their day too and they deserve to have fun every once in a while, even if it means that I have a mess to clean up later or they ride home in soaking wet clothes after a very spur of the moment run through the splash pad.
