My husband and I live in two different countries for a few months out of the year. While spending time apart isn’t our preference, he plays professional basketball overseas, so our family splits our time between the USA and wherever he’s playing for the season (this season, the UAE). At times, it’s better for our family for the kids and I to remain at home for a few months while he goes overseas. For us, it’s always temporary. Here are 3 things that help us make it work: 1.
