Either children are angels OR my baby girl was just trying to spare my feelings. Either way, I’m taking it as a mom win! We don’t typically celebrate half birthdays, but Harper has been a tad bit jealous with all of the talk of Jaxson’s 1st birthday coming up next month. We though acknowledging her half birthday would be fun and make her feel included, but I was thrown for a loop when she woke up asking for her cake! Here in Japan, the grocery stores don’t have ready made cakes like back home. We also don’t have an oven in our kitchen, so my options were pretty limited! I did the best I could with what I had.
