All the veteran moms of multiples told me this time would come… and it’s finally here! Jaxson is obsessed with his big sister, and Harper will do just about anything to make him smile. So many times throughout the day I’m finding myself saying “Harper, can you play with your baby brother for a few minutes so mommy can XYZ…?” and it’s so nice! I feel like I’ve unlocked a whole new lever of parenting 😂 Of course, their play right now is mostly just Harper being silly and Jaxson watching and laughing at her, so I can’t wait to see how it changes as he’s able to participate more. I’m going to be 100% transparent here and say that going from 1 kid to 2 was not an easy transition for me.
