Got some uninterrupted mother-son time with my little guy this past weekend while Daddy and big sis were away visiting family. As much as I love being a mom of two, I do often feel like because my attention is always split between them, neither one of them gets “enough” of me, so it was a nice and welcomed change of pace to have 24 hours of one-on-one time with Jaxson. I’m so used to having my hands full with both kiddos that having just the baby almost felt like a break! I held him way too much, nursed him on demand without having to get up and tend to other things, and enjoyed getting to watch shows that aren’t on Disney+ for a change. Who knew that I’d get to the place in motherhood where caring for just a 3 month old instead of a 3 month old and a toddler would feel like a vacation?!
