To be honest, we’re not really traditional dining room type of family! Even when we host family dinners, we eat at the kitchen table or around the counter, so we knew that we would very rarely use a dining room. When racking our brain trying to decide what to do with that space, we wanted to use it for something practical. Eventually, this room will become a homework/office space, but for now, we decided that moving our kids’ playroom from upstairs to downstairs made the most sense for our family.
