We’ve been talking a lot about education over the past few weeks. Yup, she’s not even a year old yet and we’re looking into half day and preschool programs, discussing the possibility of homeschool (especially given our lifestyle), and having the good ole private vs. public school conversation. Of course, along with these conversations comes a lot of talking about money as well, and we had an amazing meeting with a financial advisor yesterday who’s helping us get a plan in place to save for Harper’s future. We’re starting with little things like asking family and friends to donate to her educational savings account in lieu of gifts on birthdays and holidays. I’m blessed that I left undergrad with no debt (grad school was unfortunately a different story 🥴), and I hope that we can do that for Harper as well (even though I’m confident that she’s going to be just as athletic as her daddy and smarter than both of us and get ALL the scholarships 🤗).
