Earlier this week, the league (finally) made the announcement that my husband’s basketball season in Italy is officially cancelled. There are so many feelings that come along with unfinished business and so many that come along with changed plans. Each year, as the season begins to wind down, we act as if that will be our last time in whatever city or country we’re in and take some time to do all the things we’ve put off, sightsee, and take it all in. This entire situation is a reminder as to why we do that - and why we should do it in every aspect of our lives. Things can change in the blink of an eye and you never truly know what’s to come, so it’s important not to take anything for granted and not to assume that tomorrow will look the same as today. I don’t want to look back and have a list of “we’ll do it next time” things that never actually come to pass... let’s do it THIS time.
