Before I got pregnant with Harper, I was the heaviest I’ve ever been. I had just had brain surgery and the recovery process and the steroids BLEW. ME. UP. Still, I was so proud of my body for getting me through that without any lasting health issues. Fast forward 7 months post-op, I was pregnant and put on an additional 55 pounds to bring a beautiful life into this world. Again, I found myself in awe of my body for what it was capable of. I truly believe that we have to celebrate our bodies for all that they do for us, and mine has done a lot! Today I’m celebrating being two sizes smaller than my pre-pregnancy size, confident, and, most importantly, at my healthiest in more ways than one. I would love to be able to take full responsibility for this
