This picture was taken less than 4 weeks ago in Italy. It was a normal day of my Instagram husband @dequanmjones snapping pics of his girls while we explored. Everything was so calm. So normal. So business as usual. I never would have imagined that in a few weeks time the entire country would be on lockdown, the basketball season would be paused, and so many people’s health would be at risk. Thanks to everyone who has reached out to check on my little family since news of the country wide lockdown broke. Harper and I are home (and we’re so glad we made the decision to stay given everything, but of course my heart breaks a little that I’m not with my husband). DJ is fine as well, given the circumstances, and we’re trying to figure out his next move, considering that as of now, his basketball season hasn’t yet been completely cancelled (...and don’t ask me why because I don’t understand either.)
