I never know what day it is anymore and today was no different, but when one of my sorority sisters texted me (because it’s also our AKAversary), I was reminded of the date and instantly taken back to this day last year. November 22, 2018. It was Thanksgiving morning and my husband was on his way back from a road trip when I decided to take a pregnancy test. We had been trying to conceive for just over 8 months and I had taken my fair share of tests - but this one was different, of course, because it was positive. The joy that I felt was indescribable, but it’s nothing compared to the joy this little girl brings me each and every day.
