Last night Harper put on a show. She wanted to stay up and wait for her daddy to get home from his road trip to congratulate him on a great game, but what she didn’t tell me was that even after he was home and we were all settled in bed, she was still going to be on 10. Home girl said she wanted to give Daddy a whole welcome home celebration. She wanted to stay up and party. When we finally got her to sleep close to 3am, @dequanmjones and I laid there, both exhausted, laughing about how she had just given us a run for our money. Randomly he said, “we really made that,” and all I could do was smile.
