I wish this was a picture of me in the shower because it would honestly fit way better with my caption, but for a number of reasons, I don't have one of those to post, so this photo of me having an amazing hair day (thanks to @curlychichaircare) will have to do! Last week, after a talk with my @biblesandbasketball small group about the importance of intentional, consistent prayer, I started something that I like to call "shower prayers," and yep, it's exactly what it sounds like! Every day, I strip down and while I bathe, I talk to God. I feel comfortable speaking out loud since it's just me and Him, and I lay all my feelings, hopes, and dreams out on the table. I thank Him for all His blessings, pray for my friends and family, and tell him my heart's desires. While it may sound silly, this has honesty been a game changer for me.
