One of the first things I learned about my husband when we started having those long, late night phone conversations in the very start of our relationship was that he had an aunt who passed away from breast cancer. She was so much more than an aunt to him, and I'm still learning more and more about the special bond they shared and how much of an impact she had on his upbringing. I never had the pleasure of meeting her, but I often feel like I knew her too. She was a big part of the reason that I knew I wanted to do something special with @kintsugicandleco this month in honor of #BreastCancerAwareness. This month, a portion of our proceeds will benefit @PaintedPink4BC, and I hope you'll help us make a difference, whether it's buy purchasing a candle, or purchasing from another brand who is participating in #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth π
