Between the all-star break and the team being on the road, it seriously feels like I haven't been to a basketball game in FOREVER, but it's finally a game day here in Fort Wayne! I'm still reeling from the fact that last Sunday, my hubby was crowned NBA G-League Slam Dunk Champion out in LA. We took this picture right after he made it to the 2nd round of the competition, and a few seconds after this, he goes, "Oh sh**, I didn't practice any dunks for the 2nd round!" and runs to the practice court in the back to get some quick work in. It just goes to show that while preparation is great, some talent just comes natural. My husband and I are both guilty of shying away from our God-given talents. For a long time, he worked tirelessly on perfecting his jump shot (which has greatly improved, might I add) because he didn't want to be seen as "just a dunker."
