The Spanish town of Ibi descended into floury chaos as revellers celebrated the Els Enfarinats festival. During the event, people got suited up in military clothing and battled with a concoction of flour, eggs and firecrackers. The 200-year-old event takes place every year on the 28 December to coincide with the Day of the Innocents, the equivalent of April Fools' Day.
