When the doctors found that my older sister had a brain tumor, we were surprised because she was in her early twenties and very high-energy. But she was diagnosed with cancer, and from there, it was a very quick decline. She started losing her vision and then the ability to move. I wondered why this was happening to someone so faithful. I asked God to heal her, but it just didn’t happen. I had a really hard time accepting and understanding that. People talk about how sometimes bad things just happen to good people and the Lord is refining us, but it’s still really hard to understand.
