Bailey studied Brain and Cognitive Science from the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences psychology department. She hails from the spritely hamlet of Glenview, Illinois and marched in the trumpet section. Her post-graduation plans include applying to medical school, working as a medical assistant at the Illinois Bone and Joint Institute, and learning how to juggle. Bailey’s favorite memory in the Marching Illini was participating in the Dublin Saint Patrick’s Day parade, but it’s hard to pick just one. The Marching Illini has been where many of her favorite memories and closest friends were made. Her advise is to make the most of college because it can be over in a flash. One minute you’re a five minute bus ride from friends and the next you’re scattered around the country (or more accurately Illinois).
