For our next recognition, we turn the camera around to feature our social media chair… Carlos will graduate from the College of Fine and Applied Arts with a Bachelor of Music Education. Carlos is from Streamwood, IL, and was a part of the social media team and alto saxophone section. Carlos is excited to start his student teaching journey this fall at Prospect High School and River Trails Middle School in Mount Prospect, IL! Carlos will also be applying for graduate programs in saxophone performance and literature. The Marching Illini has provided Carlos with many opportunities and long life friendships that will live on beyond #band156. He was inspired by the culture, staff, members, and memories both on the field and on the sideline. Carlos’ advice is to take in every single moment!
