On agility days before we react, we prep by working in the positions and forces that we see in lateral movement.
Adding Band Resistance allows us to:
- Own lateral push mechanics
- Build strength in change-of-direction angles
- Prep tissues for more reactive, higher speed movements later in the session
- Improve lateral power by being forced to drive out against the band
